Re: Gen 4 Radio replacement options

I really do believe these Android units offer an exiting option. I did quite a bit of reading on them while I was searching for something decent to stick in my Isuzu and would most probably have pulled the trigger if I had kept my Isuzu. Do you have the Rockford system in your Pajero? How does repla...

Re: Lower control arm gap

I live in Barberton and used an outfit in Nelspruit called N4 Suspension. My reason for visiting them was to get a noisy shock sorted out. The gent there took me through all the bushes on my car and carefully explained all his findings. They stock boxes full of different sizes and shapes of rubber b...

Re: Lower control arm gap

Eddie, is that a jack I see in the one pic? Was your car jacked up and the suspension extended? That could explain the gap. The "standard" test for that bush is to force it forward and backward with a long bar. Too much movement will indicate worn bushes. I had mine replaced at 140k, by having new r...

Absolute truth that!
Don't ignore a warning sound.
If you think you heard it, don't try to wish it away. It is there and you did hear it.

PS:
I had my rear control arm bushes replaced by having new rubber ones pressed in. I was very happy with the results.

Re: Won't go into 4llc

If the 4L light is solid, then your Pajero is in low range.
I'm glad all is fine with your car.
Enjoy!

Re: Won't go into 4llc

The gearbox MUST be in N before trying to engage LR. Does the little light on the dash flash on and off, but it refuses to engage? Park it on a slope and allow the car to slowly roll forward (in N) while trying to engage LR. You can also try turning the steering a little from side to side. The idea ...

Re: Pajero Gen4 Front Bumper

I get the need for those forward facing exhaust pipes, but heck, it spoils a really cool looking bumper. The big gap between the bumper and body can also detract from the good looks. I think I used my light washers once or twice in all the time I had my car, no real loss. Sent from my SM-G955F using...

Re: Help identifying the 3.8 i V6 24V MIVEC motor

There is much more to it than just the engine torque. The revs and gearing play a major role on how much power goes to the wheels.

But yes, 5 - 6 km/l sounds about right.
