Re: 17 inch rims yes or no?
You will find those that say does not effect. What I found is that the effect was most noticeable with an auto but will still effect a manual but not as noticeable. Also if towing it will again make a noticeable difference. To prove a point I went opposite (smaller dia) at one stage and there was an...

Re: Pajero Gen4 Hydraulic Lifters
I am not a petrol Pajero expert but coming from the oil industry I do recall that the V6 has a preference for a specific grade of engine oil. I suggest you Google and look for answers there. This forum is a bit quiet at the moment. Try the Pajero Club Facebook site or the 4x4 Comunuty Forum.

Re: washer reservoir
. Remove the washer bottle and establish exactly what the problem is. Could be a simple and cheap fix. Google Part Hunt. They have a wide selection of used parts to choose from. They are way out in Pta East. I or another can possibly help if you are a distance away.

Re: Tyre pressure monitor
OE Mits used a Valour system which I bought aftermarket and fitted to my Gen3 which I have since sold. It is a good system and the components are available. Google Valour. One of the tire dealers were the SA Valour agents and were very helpful.

Re: Pajeros at breakers yards and scrap dealers - rear diff
Good day all. I am looking for a 3.2 Diesel rear diff and side shaft with diff lock at a fair price. I am in Pta. Mine is traction control.
It can even be a shot diff - I am actually looking for the diff lock section.
Tks Peter - oh ate 2679four833.

Re: 2000 SWB 3.2 DID oil usage
Start with the easiest most logic thing first.
You do not mention when and who serviced last
Drain the oil fill with the correct API spec well known brand SAE 15W/40 and make sure level is 100% correct and then monitor for the service period.

Fuel delivery is purposely increased by thee ECU to allow for the process. Oil drain is carried out right after to get rid of fuel contaminated engine oil.

Yes they work fine. Just work carefully when you fit them. The sleeve is very thin.
