Gen2 wheel bearing replacement

My right rear wheel looks (or rather sounds) like a bearing needs to be replaced. Is this an easy enough job to do? Any ideas on replacement cost?

Re: Aux Fuel Tank for Gen 2 SWB

Glad you got it sorted - there goes my plan of having them fit one! Terry I have found that fitment centres differ greatly by their commitment to get a job done. I went to Safari Centre and 4x4 Megaworld to get my DB system fitted in the engine bay (I already had the battery from the Colt). They re...

Re: Gen2 LWB Packing System and Fridge Slide

Anything you learnt while building the system? A couple of things... It has developed an annoying squeak which I can't find... possibly somewhere with one of the joints but I don't think so, it seems to be more metal on metal. Also, the layout of the electrical sockets doesn't work. I can't close t...

Re: Gen 2 JVC Head Unit interference

So your vehicle is fitted with a custom type antenna then. Fitting a booster will improve the signal, but not the signal/noise ratio, as you will boost noise together with the RF signal. Best thing you can do is to simply fit a decent whip antenna on the fender, but on the opposite side to sparkplu...

Re: Gen 2 JVC Head Unit interference

This morning no interference so I'm also guessing atmospherics play a part. I want to replace the power antenna one day with a whip anyway, but it's a huge mission to get into the fender to do the job.

Is it possible to but some sort of "booster" like you get with standard television antennas?

Gen 2 JVC Head Unit interference

My JVC head unit has been suffering from interference pretty much since the day I bought it. It's definitely related to the ignition, but ONLY on 5FM... no other station suffers from it and it doesn't happen with any other audio source. What to do? The audio guys say that the fact that it is related...
