Arnold Venter has offered club members a remap / software upgrade at a special price of R4500. This excludes a decat and an EGR block off, which I imagine most members might have done already. The normal price is R6000 including the decat and EGR block off. There are other remaps / software upgrades available at a cheaper price. Most of these cheaper remaps / upgrades also do not come with a dyno test before and after.
Now before you go rushing off to have this done, I wish to emphasize that the reason for Mitsibushi detuning / torque restricting the Gen 4.1 has yet to be discovered / revealed.
