No sweat, not urgent. I saw your thread on the engine saga - good luck, I hope you get it resolved.
(Driveshaft lesson #2: Not all Gen3 Diesels use the same shafts. The used one I eventually found does not fit, so the search continues)

Hi... Looks like this just happened to me. Does wild dogs fix work? If I do it DIY must I replace the seal.
Can i tap it back and wait and see? I'm thinking it'll just come out again. Any new help or recent DIY repairs. Any help please. 0726040695.

Get it done properly.

No need to machine the spindle. Just get the revise circlips and install. Top up the fluid and off you go.

The circlips needs to hold the spindle tighter than the in/out resistance of the CV joints movements. Simple.
