Steve:

I have replaced mine on the last service under service plan, 90 000km, with parts from the dealer and I must have around 50% left. My Pajero is on 134 000km currently. I will see how long they last as the guys at Hi-Q did tell me that the Pajero is not getting a lot of km's on a set of front pads.

I must add that I do a lot of open road and in the past I got over 100 000km on brake pads on my Hilux D/C.

Judging by my present wear rate I would say about 80K to 90K with ATE. My Gen3 was very much the same but with OE. I tow a rig as well. Your driving style will definitely influence but your lifespan seems very short. On Gen 4 the front calipers have special bolts (forgotten the name now!) that the calipers slide on as the pads wear. Make sure those bolts are free and lubricated where pins slide in the caliper housing.
