Thanks Clyod. I like your idea of a skid plate at the back. Will have a look into that. I think once I've raised the suspension with those spacers and 70 tyres my car should be fine.

Hi guys. So I went to a rough and ready new trail called At se Gat on Saturday. I was a bit nervous because the trail is still being built and the guys that are helping Attie build the route have modified Rubicons and lifted Jeep Grand Cherokees and the like. I really missed a lift on the Pajero and will most likely go the Uys spacers route when my bonus comes. Until then I am keen to add a skid plate to the rear as per Cloyd's solution.

Overall there were a lot of water crossings with big rocks, I hit the chassis a few times which sounded much worse than it was and the only damage I could see was the bodywork under the rear fold out seats, there is one small dent there and of course the bumper had to be bent back into place. Otherwise the traction control makes life easy and she performed well under the conditions. I am still very happy :)

Hi All,
I have just purchased a 2013 Pajero 3.2 DiD LWB and am looking to raise the suspension a little and also install a sump bash plate.

I see from the posts here that some bought spacers from Uys. Can anybody put me in touch with Uys.

With regard to the bash plate where is the best place to purchase.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards

Peter

Peter, Stofpad 4x4 also do the bashplate and I have them on my Pajero and they are very well designed. Check out their website.

For spacers you can also go to Mitsi Tech in Alberton (not sure where you live).
