Tyre Speed rating for Gen4
I recently fitted Michelin tyres LTX AT2 (265/65/17 112S) on my Gen4. The tyres I replaced were Yokohama Geo (265/65/17 112H). I am now somehow beginning to think that maybe the change of speed rating from H to S may have some side effects on my addictive pajero. Any comments, previous experiences on this matter. My experience thus far is very good. I have not done offroad yet, only trips between Nelspruit and Vereeniging.

Re: Tyre Speed rating for Gen4
If you stick to the national speed limit you won't have any issues, the speed rating far exceeds 120km/hJabulani wrote:I recently fitted Michelin tyres LTX AT2 (265/65/17 112S) on my Gen4. Re: Tyre Speed rating for Gen4
Thanks Kurt, well appreciated. Actually, I am really enjoying these tyres now. The grip I get on the road is superb, less noisy. I suspect there can be about 5% fuel consumption reduction. I will check and give update.
