Good morning,
I have just acquired my first Pajero, a 5 door 1992 3l V6. I am hoping that someone can shed some light on my issue...
The factory size tire on this vehicle is a 265/70/15. Would I be compromising anything if i replaced these with 245/75/15 tires?
Does the 20mm difference have a significant off-road performance impact? I will mainly be using the vehicle to tow a trailer for my food stand but I do also camp on the west coast with the 5 children quite often so would really only be doing some sand driving.
Any and all feedback is appreciated!
Cheers

Subscribed. The slightly higher tirewall will not reduce the ratio too much as you have sufficient oomph in the v6. In terms of safety i do not know. You will lose some grip...

Re: 245 vs 265 tire
To be honest, the Jeep Wranglers all come with a 245 wide tyre and the Defenders all come with a 235 so I cannot see that it will cause any issues. Go for it.
