Should have used a shovel first to dig it out

  1. Testosterone has no brakes.
  2. There is a limit to 'clever', but not for stupidity!
  3. The cameraman was the worst of the lot - he should attend a 'Video photography 101' or 'Video Photography for dummies' course!
  4. I would have left the idiot who drove in there to sort it out himself - even from the video it was clear that he would get stuck.
  5. They are lucky not to have damaged a vehicle or killed a person. That winch cable, strung as taut as a piano wire, can cut a leg or arm off in an instant.

The root cause of the problem in most if these videos: Lazy people!. Like Johan said, a using shovel should be step 1.
