I saw the articale regarding lifting the spare wheel on a Pajero Gen 4. You mentioned you might be able to make such a plate. I am looking for one urgently and was wondering whether you managed to finish it and whether you will be able to make one for me.
Much appreciated.
Regards
Hannes

I'm in aswell to lift the spare, even considered to throw it on the RR. Other than lifting the suspension and fitting a drop plate, this appears to be the only way to get rid of the biggest flaw on the Pajero.
Please keep us posted on developments

Is there still a demand for this? Mine is a Gen2 so I don't need it but I do work for an Engineering firm and can have them made.

Has anybody actually fitted one of these?
I current have a very good offer on a Gen4 GLX, but if I can't find a way to get rid off that plough at the back, I'll have to walk away from it.
Some pics will be appreciated.
Thanks
Johan

Can someone please help in indicating whom made, sell and fit this item in the Western Cape. Have to alter the extended towbar for bicycle rack to normal towbar due to stones on gravelroad knocking out backdoor window. Thanks. JohanSBot

Resurrecting a very old thread.
I have contacted Uys at Stofpad4x4 to try and convince him to make our own SA version of this as I am sure there is still a lot of interest, judging from posts popping up regarding this elsewhere every now and again. Although there has been a lot of talk in the past on this thread I do not know of anyone actually making and selling this particular item commercially?
Stofpad4x4 is a well known 4x4 accessories maker and I believe they will produce a quality product and have the backup in place to produce a number at a time and be able to distribute nationwide through their distribution network. Will keep you updated.
