Mon Oct 07, 2013 8:30 pm

hii all pajero-ers,

we (swambo and i) are planning our December break :D - this is what we have in mind (considering i am towing with a palma caravan  ):
1. from centurion stay vryburg - 2 nights
2. vryburg stay augrabies - 4 nights
3 cross the border at nakop to keetmanshoop.
swambo wants to stay 1 night at grunau? - to keetmanshoop
4. keetmanshoop - 4 nights - (all depends on swambo :| and advice from all)
5. keetmanshoop to vioolsdrift - 2 nights
6. vioolsdrift to oranje-rus - 4 nights
7. oranjer-rus to vryburg - 1 night.
8, vryburg to centurion - all done :|

all the best to all :D - what a fantastic forum to belong to.

Sound advice, if you want to enter in a BBBEE business venture? Think twice! Make sure your i's are dotted and t's are crossed :ugeek:

Enjoy! If all goes to plan, we'll be heading that way in Dec 2014.

This year it's KZN North Coast - Tugela River Mouth Resort.

Anybody familiar with the place?

@Johan
Yes been to TMR a number of times. Catering very much for the fisherman but clean and neat. Neta sites and lovely pool. close to the beach and if you fish, one of the best spots.
If you get a chance go to Rita's retreat on the southbank, long drive from TMR, but stunning place. Dont try and wade the mouth, loads of Zambezis hanging around for the odd drowned cow.

Myself I'm off to the wildcoast for a week in Dec, followed by Durbs to keep the kids happy with Ushaka and other attractions and then north to st Lucia for new years

Sitting pretty at home and waiting for you guys and the excitement.

Do not swim in the sea at the river mouth especially after rain of which we have had abundance!

The weather is really not good at the moment and we are expecting..... tons of rain... according to the weather bureau

Also think of a day visit to Black or White Umfolosi as one can do that even if it rains! This is possible as just a day visit. Very nice restuarant at Hill Top for lunch

Hoping for a turn in the weather for you guys

Planning a trip towards winter to Malawi or perhaps Botswana

If you are in Pinetown area we can always organise a braai so I can meet some Forum guys

Went to the Community 4x4 forum last year at Gariep was good fun. anyone from our forum going this year?

:D Have fun

Received photos of TMR. Cant tell the differance between the water and the beach, same colour from all the rain.
He spotted 15 sharks in the shallows, less than knee deep water, rubbing in the sand
