"Working" in the Transkei

Sun Aug 30, 2009 5:23 pm

I have the privilege of "working" in the Transkei.

Last week I had to go to a site hand over of a new project (upgrading of roads).
Look at the black turf track that needs to be upgraded!

A few pics to show you how tough a job I have.

I had to go back to resolve a few issues.

Stayed at the Mbotyi River Lodge (http://www.mbotyi.co.za).

Did a quick 4x4 trail near the lodge. The rest was all work and taking pics was not always easy.

Aahh. I love the Transkei. Mbotyi is nice. I spent new years day 2008 (I think) on a little beach at the end of your trail (I think).
