Looking for ideas for holidays? Maybe a trail? Or even a trip across Africa?

Overnight accommodation - Malelane/Komatipoort

Fri Oct 26, 2012 11:28 am

Can anybody recommend a decent place to overnight in either Malelane/Komatipoort or surrounding area?

Preferably Chalets/B&B with sufficient parking space for a three caravans/trailers.

Thanks

Johan

Hi,

I would try any place at Marloth park which is close to Komatipoort, the places are cheap, haves lots of parking and you are in the bush and not in the city, with plains game roaming around.

There are a lot of nice places there for rent, have a look at www.safarinow.com, will send details on a few places we have stayed there when I get a chance.

Cheers

Hi Johan,

Here is one of the really nice places we have stayed at Marloth, really a great spot, has 3 seperate chalets and a massive central area with lounge huge kitchen pool. Lapa, braai everything you need and has a lot of parking. Very nice setup for a big group. May be a bit pricy but is a real treat, else there are a lot of other options there too,e bush and about 20 mins from Komatipoort.

Davis also check these.
I stayed at Komati River Lodge a few times and it was quite nice.
