We're considering a Pajero Rally during 2014 at Kambati 4x4 Western Cape. We're looking at a pretty big event (100 plus vehicles) I can't yet provide any specifics, but I'd like to invite ALL club members from all over to start showing interest by placing your name here. Something this large will take some organization, so if you're willing to help, let me know.
Update: Date provisionally set for 26-28 September 2014

After missing the tie in the dots Barberton this year due to my own stupidity.....this sound like a great idea.
Keep us posted........wine route could be on the books.

UPDATE: Be advised that we have pencilled in the weekend of the 26-28 September. The fact that the 24th is a public holiday will allow people from further afield to make a worthwhile trippie out of it.

- We have 1st dibs on Cottage #1
- We can come with the Touareg (the Gen1 is not the best long distance cruiser any more)

Looks like the traditional date for the Tie in the Dots is now taken
Simon,
Please give more detail about the weekend. Is my little cottage too far from there for me to stay in?
Roelf
PS: Google was my friend. Swellendam, I see.

I have no further details. There was a Land Rover rally there last year, with over 150 vehicles, and that was quite a success.
