I had the privilliage today to look at the new outlander sport at our factory. Must say they made some mayor changes to it and all the badges (front & back) were taped so i assumed its not launched yet but you can see it from a mile away its an outlander. Will try to get some more specs tomorrow if somebody are interested?

Interesting, I think this might be a new model in South Africa. The Outlander Sport /asx/rvr is a cuv slightly smaller than the Outlander and competing withthe like Quuasqai, Tiguan etc.

If only they would equip it with the 2.0/2.2 Di-D engine, like in the UK and Europe!

Priced correctly and marketed properly I think it can be a good seller in the South African market if the engines are up to the conditions in SA. I see it is one of the BIG sellers in the American Mitsu market.

It draws nicely on the Outlander and Evo lines and I actually like the look.

by the way what are the difference of the Pajero and the outlander in terms of performance? Coz I can basically match up the Pajero and the Montero/Nativa in terms of its size but the ouotlander is a crossover SUV right?
