Diff lock to rear diff on 1998 3.5l v6

Sun Mar 24, 2019 6:05 pm

I use my 1998 3.5 Pajero for serious off roading, sand duning to be precise. Unfortunately pre 1999/ blister fender models, difflocs was not standard feature. Can anyone advise me on the easiest or most cost effective way to get my rear diff to lock. Thanx, Etienne

Hi Etienne, I've been looking into the same thing recently. From what I can tell there are 2 options.
Option 1 - get an aftermarket air diff locker installed.
Option 2 - install a diff from the blister fender with diff lock (I am not sure what this is going to cost and what is needed to install it, I am trying to get as much info as I can).
