My "new" Gen3

Thu Jul 17, 2014 12:36 am

2007 3.2 DiD GLX
Bought it 2 weeks ago. Have driven the Swartberg pass, route 62 into Cape Town and last Saturday I was shown the ropes at Honinklip 4x4 trail with some friends much more experienced than me and I loved it - it was my first official 4x4 trail.

I'm wondering if I should do some small modifications like bashplate, shorten the towbar or remove it and new tyres. If you have any suggestions in this regard then pls let me know.

Just joined the pajero club too. Very green but very keen.

Enjoy. I would definitely fit an upgraded bash plate to protect the very vulnerable and expensive intercooler. Other than that drive it for a while and see what your needs are.

Nice go anywhere vehicle! Maybe a suspension lift? Stoffpad spacers are relatively cheap. And I agree with Cats, bash plate upgrade if you are going anywhere near rocks. Not that the current ones are bad, just upgrade is better!
