Good day all,
I hope you can help, I have a 2010 pajero sport 3.2.
I have removed the CAT and done the ERG blanking plate.
I towed a companion this weekend to klein paradys, and back on the computer I got 14.7L/100KM at 100 - 110KM/H
Now my question is, what can I do to increase my fuel efficiency.
Will a remap or chip help?
how do they do a remap, is it a stranded map they load or custom to my engine and gearbox combo?
any info would be appreciated.

Re: Pajero Sport 3.2 Consumption.
Hi RaymondH,
I also have a 2010 3.2 Pajero Sport and have been towing a Trailer with 2.5t.
My car is stock standard and normally uses 11l/100km driving town and long distance.
Towing the trailer, I do not use any less than 16l/100km in mixed driving averaging 90km/h.
Looks like you are doing not too badly with your consumption!

Hi Hubertdebos
thanks for the info.
Question, is your towing combination legal?
I was under the impression that the sport could only tow up to 1500KG
regards.

Re: Pajero Sport 3.2 Consumption.
The trailer is legal as it is a braked unit used for work purposes.
