Hi Guys
I recently noticed some heavy black smoke on my 3.2 DID diesel 2001 model. It's more intense sometimes when the car is iddling. What could be the problem and how can I get it fixed. Hi Beven

I have the same vehicle, noticed black smoke on idle and acceleration. Even after changing all the filters the problem persisted. Eventually checked the EGR system and found it totally carboned up. Blank off the EGR and like magic my Pajero is not smoking anymore.

This solved my problem have a look, could be same thing.
