Re: Front wheel green lights flashing !!
I know my Pajero is a later model but I have to take my foot off the accelerator to a few seconds and the lights go solid.. It's probably to take the pressure off the gears. Hope this helps.diesel&dust wrote:Hi fellow pajero owners ,i have a 2002 3.2 did

Same applies when disengaging.
Re: Front wheel green lights flashing !!
Same here, you have to unload the front diff gears.

Hiya
This has happened to us in the past with our 2001 SWB. After much frustration we found it to be the front solenoid which just needed a clean, some working and re-lubrication.
We almost stripped everything else down thinking that the front solenoid actually looked fine.

As far as I know, the solenoids have nothing that needs to be lubricated.
Re: Front wheel green lights flashing !!
Do you mean the 2 solenoids, or the actuator that sits at the front differential?

Re: Front wheel green lights flashing !!
Check the vacuum actuator on the front differential
Had a similar problem on a colt 4x4 bakkie. The diaphragm on the actuator perished
By default of vacuum is lost the front diff will be engaged

Re: Front wheel green lights flashing !!
I had this problem a while ago. Inside the rubber boot where the actuator shaft connects with the shaft that goes into the diff the metal clip that connects them fell out. Actuator was moving but could not push or pull the shaft.
