I have just baught an 2004 Pajero with electric issue.
The last owner mountet a revers cam and after a while fuse nr 8 blow. (Reverse light 20 amp)
Hi replaced IT severeral times and IT blows every time after 2-3 days. Last time he replaced the fuse hi had forgot his glases, and mounted a 30 amp fuse. And after a while this blows to, with smoke..
Hi saw later that was a wire in the tailgate so was to earth. He removed all from the reverse cam and replaced the fuse, but the same is the same.
The car is in limp mode now, only 3. Gear working and no indicator light in dash from gear, 4wd an ESP and ABS is lightning.
The car acts exactly like the fuses is blown, so I think a wire is blown, or?
I Have taked out the fuseboks inside and have it apart to se if there was something wrong, but its fine.
Somebody her so think they now whats the problem?
