Hi Guys
What frequency's are we using for POCSA??
Is the open ORRA"s
29.8725
29.8975
29.8850
I have to state the above in the application.
Andre
We do not have an official frequency for the club. Are you applying through ORRA? We are looking at AAWDC membership and therefore ORRA frequencies are probably appropriate for now, but just be aware that until we have whatever affiliation, radio licences are your own responsibility.
Just a general note, POCSA does not condone unlicenced radios.

Andre, if you're applying for a 29MHz radio licence through ORRA, simply state "29MHz". But you need to also give the name of the Club that you belong to. As POCSA is not yet affiliated to ORRA, you will have to use some other affiliated member, such as the 4x4 Community Forum - assuming you're a member there too.

Im buying a new kirisun pt4200 this week do i need to have it set up on a frequency at the shop and if so which frequency? any help will be great
Colin
You cannot just set it to any frequency. It has to be the frequency you are licenced for (most likely through your ORRA afifliated club).
We are not affiliated to ORRA or the AAWDC, and as such have no frequency available. This may change in the future but then we have to consider charging membership fees (and associated hassles with SARS etc)
