ORRA Licences 2011
Guys, ICASA has changed its Financial year-end from December until March of the following year. Therefore, no accounts for Radio Communications Licences have yet been sent out, but they will be posted early in the new Year.

This informative from ORRA:

To ALL RADIO OFFICERS/CLUB CHAIRMAN

We are in the process to change the frequencies closer to one another. We also applied for a third frequency, but we are still awaiting reply from ICASA.

ICASA will be changing their financial year from end of December to end of March. ORRA will cover the 3 months interim period for licensing.
There after we will invoice. We expect that new invoices will go out February/March 2011.

PETER CLAASEN
ORRA CHAIRMAN

Please be patient, ORRA will send out the necessary invoices before March of next year.

Re: ORRA Licences 2011
Kai, the correct procedure would be to advise ORRA of your intention to sell and provide the purchaser's details to ORRA. The purchaser would then require to obtain his own ORRA licence. Upon presentation of that, you may hand over the radio to him and cancel your own licence if you wanted to. No refunds would be applicable from ORRA.

If you simply upgraded your radio, then you keep your ORRA licence and advise them of the new model number & Manufacturer.
