The center silencer on my paj was hanging very low and there was also a hole where the exhaust connects to the front silencer. The center silencer was also broken inside. Had it replaced with a cowley silencer that is slightly smaller. They could also mount it a lot higher so that its no longer the lowest point on the car. So far, so good.
The exhaust is now a lot more noisy with lovely V6 sounds coming from the back
. The problem is that the fuel consumption went up
. I'm now getting 18l/100km. Used to be 16-17 which I think is already very high. Should anything be done to tune the engine for the slightly modified exhaust, or will the ecu eventually learn?
