Found these two fantastic sites.

This one has preloaded custom vehicles.

this one allows you to upload a SRF file and it returns a PNG file that you can edit with GIMP and then upload the PNG and it returns the SRF file for you. (MS Paint doesn't work)

I used it to create my pajero.

I only edited the first top and bottom image of the PNG file as I only use the track up feature on my nuvi.

That is pretty nifty, thanks.
My problem is that I prefer to have to map display always facing north. This means that I need a vehicle image that I can clearly identify the front and rear. So currently I use an arrow, how boring can life be???

I'll scratch around on those websites and see what emerges.

north up display is fine, you just have to edit more on the PNG image.
