Busy servicing the 3.2DID and see that it has a ME 132526 diesel filter on. The dealer gave me a ME 132525 - same part no as on the previous service invoices (serviced at the dealer).
They look very much the same, except for the part no. Has anyone had the same issue or noticed this? Think I will wait with that one until I know better. Anything to keep in mind when replacing the diesel filter - screw off old one, screw on new one and prime?

I bought an oil filter yesterday and he gave me part number LME013343 for my 3.2.
4e, I was referring to the diesel fuel filter (my bad), but I also have two different no's for the oil filter it seems. The old filter is 1230A046 and the new one is LME0 13343 (same as yours and on my previous service invoices). I also noted the new diesel fuel filter box shows ME132525 but the filter inside shows ME132526 (same as the current old one).

I have just checked MMC ASA (Latest WinCaps) and it specifies for V78W chassis 2005 model the following part numbers
Oil Filter - ME013307
Fuel filter - ME132525
I do know, however, that mitsubishi constantly develops and improves their products so a revised part number may not show up on my software, but does on theirs.

I will call the dealer's parts department next week - it will not be the first time that they have given me the wrong part.
