Hi Everyone
I have my 2004 model LWB 3.2 DiD for almost 3 troublefree years now, and she goes by the name "Princess". Im looking to chip the vehicle and came across the Chipbox website who are the SA distributors for this Italian product. The few reviews I came across look promising but has anyone on this site purchased one?

"3 troublefree years"
Ian,
Why scratch an itch-free ride by having some (wrench)monkey wire an Italian part into your reliable Pajero?
Seriously Ian, have a look at forums of other makes of 4x4s and then you will realise how precious the term "trouble free" really is.

I had a petrol Colt chipped many years ago which I took out in the end as I was not happy with the result. If there was seriously more power/less fuel without sacrificing reliability to be had, it would have been built in by the manufacturers.
My personal opinion is that a chip is something made from potatos that you eat.

Hi All
Perhaps I am bored and looking for trouble buts thats just me. I was hoping to obtain responses from others that have used a chipbox, and possibly considering it to other products.
I have ordered one anyway and will let you have some feedback, good or bad once fitted ,and after I have driven it for a while. I will even let you know if the motor blows up.

If my recollection is right, member JDV had (and removed) a chip.
Maybe you can PM him and enquire.

Performance chips are designed to BS the ECU to inject more fuel at a given condition.

The Di-D is powerful, economical and reliable in its standard state of tune.
Why risk changing this?
