Can anyone please advise if the plug in chip for power enhancement is worth the money for my 2009 Gen4 Pajero 3,2DiD SWB. The cost in the region of R7000,00 and they claim a fuel saving with this at Steves Auto Clinic. Regards and thanks.
Search the forums for this - plenty has been discussed.
In my opinion it's not worth doing unless approved by Mitsubishi and get it in writing that it won't affect your warranty and maintenance plan.

You can go a helluva long way with R7000 worth of diesel.....
Why would you want to do this? The vehicle is pretty decent on fuel usage for its size. For ZERO money you can save diesel by lifting your right foot ever so slightly and driving slower. Increase in power? Why again? The 3.2 Did gives decent power and torque with reliability to boot.henniev wrote:Can anyone please advise if the plug in chip for power enhancement is worth the money for my 2009 Gen4 Pajero 3,2DiD SWB. Keep it standard I would say.
CATS
if they could have guarantee a saving, how much will you save per tank?, and why need more power? the 3.2 DiD can go toe-to-toe with every vehicle in its class.henniev wrote:Can anyone please advise if the plug in chip for power enhancement is worth the money for my 2009 Gen4 Pajero 3,2DiD SWB.
