I hope you mean the connector to the potentiometer that is connected to the throttle pedal. It is a connector about 8cm long. Plug out spray and connect again.

Re: 2001 3.2 DID ECU Problem
hi, i am zenon from cyprus owning a 2001 3.2 did with exactly the same problems as the above friends. it accelerates by itself, thick white smoke when i stop, a lot of vibration on the whole car and all these especially when uphill and temperatures more than 30 degrees celsius. yesterday it was my worst case scenario. idling speed 3500revs, rev counter to zero, noise, vibration and thick white smoke of unused petrol smell. friends came to my rescue and after it got dark, cooler and downhill, i travelled 100 km with no problems at all. like the above never happened. please help. i need the part numbers of those 2 speed sensors on the fuel pump somebody mentioned before. -sos-
Re: 2001 3.2 DID ECU Problem
Hi guys, I know Im 10 years too late for this toppic, but what was the final solution to the problem? Was it the speed sencors on the fuel pump or to spray wd40 to the accelerator pedal .
