The jeeps have more clearance except for the diffs. The pajero diffs sit higher but other than that the jeep has way more clearance.Davidvan wrote:

The Jeeps have got good ground clearance though, am a bit envious of that. The Rubicon is a real machine, but wouldn't swap my Paj for it though
The pajero gen3 rear diff is fairly protected by the antiroll bar and a strengthening bar but if you glance underneath you will see that it can still be hit by a large rock - possibly if sliding of another rock and then onto a rock where the diff may take the full impact and break - although the pajero diff looks like it's made for tank use
