Europe "EX ALBANIA" trip report
Hi,
I'd like to place here some photo from old Europe. This August I've been into Albania countryside, country on the Balkan region. My Patrol is in repair-shop for now so my small Pajero was the choice. The whole trip was about 3 000 km, about 900km was in Albania countryside and mountains.
I'll place here some pictures, step by step, just to show you the country. Pajero was excellent, temperature above 35 Celsius and altitude up to 1900m above see level was no problem.

Beautiful!

Looks like some areas in Western Cape (South Africa).

Interesting "single accommodation" on the roof of the Jeep...

Yes, really beautiful country. I hope one day I'll have opportunity to compare it with Western Cape (I've never been in Africa south then Ethiopia till now).
Next part of the pictures for trip report.

WOW!

That is really stunning. Nice challenge for the vehicles you were using.

Does it snow over in Winter?

Re: Europe "EX ALBANIA" trip report
Yes, there is snow over the mountain in the winter, mainly in the north part of country ("Prokletje" or "Albanien Alps") and thaw (soft weather) is always bringing flood-water in valleys.
We had very dusty weather there therefore we had no problem with mud, but in case of rain... it could be dramatically complicated.
