Hi Guys, I have a Mitsubishi Pajero 2002 Diesel, engine 4M41.
I am having problems with the Fuel pump, the mechanic found small particles of metal in the fuel tank that are damaging the pump, now we are doing the maintenance shortly (2,000Km), but still the pump is giving me hard time. Is there any solution for this situation? What is the part number to find the complete pump with the GE (electronic part) too? Where can be a good source for it?
Thanks, ES
sit down when you get a price from the dealers. The pump with it's electronic control is a single unit.
I believe this is the part number
ME204338

I think the costing works on the part number... isnt it part no x 3

what is the overall opinion of Allan Black in Sperings?
I have had good service from them in the past where they tested my injectors and pump at 100 000 and again at 200 000km, but I have heard that some people do not like them. They definately know the 3.2 Did engines as Mitsu send a lot of their stuff to them.altusvdberg wrote:what is the overall opinion of Allan Black in Sperings?
Maybe give Freek at Mitspro(independant service garage) a call. He redid a 3.2Did some time ago and had the same result as yours, ran for 7000km and then gave up the ghost. He traced the problem and that same engine has now done 30 000km, no hassles. He does not use Alan Black but some other diesel specialist.
I had a chat to him last week when I was there to do my 250 000km service.
