Hi All

I bought Mitsu coolant today to add to my Gen 3 Pajero. buoght from the dealers (see attached pic).

They say I drain and flush my system and just add that bottle of coolant and then top up with water. Is that correct?

I can't see any clear instructions on the bottle.

It does say on the front of the bottle that it is pre-mixed so does that not mean I should only add that in and not water?

Hope someone can shed some light on this for me.

Just used the part number as a reference and found this website:

in the Directions section it says "No dilution necessary". Just went back and checked on the bottle and hey presto it says the same (see attached pic).

So then does that mean the dealers advice was incorrect?

It says on the bottle that it is a 30% concentrate, which is about as low as you want to go.
Adding water will dilute it to less than 30%.

That means you have to fill the whole system with this mix, and top up with it as well, when needed.

What if more efficient? Dilute this with water or putting it in pure? What other additives can you recommend to cool the engine?

The coolant concentration should be between 35 and 50 % by volume.
Pure coolant is as ineffextive as pure water.
