a good morning to you all,
i am a new pajero owner, just had mine for two weeks.
i am having engine problems with my 4M40 engine i took it some(intended to take it some 600km) East of where i live.
200km into the journey it suddenly starts to lose power and the temperature gauge shoots up.
i stopped immediately and a mech check it out and claimed it was the cylinder head gasket.
we openned the engine and found worn bearings and a defective turbo.
the engine was rebuilt and it has a load of black smoke no power and still overheats.
questions.
i would like to have a manual gearbox put in any ideas on the correct type of gearbox?
what should i look out for the next time i have the engine rebuilt?
any helpful ideas...
