I have a 99 Blister 3.5 and have small problem with my intake manifold.
First the butterfly valve unit was leaking and upon inspection found that all the bushes were shod.
I had the repairer that the engine works do a mod which they suggested will do the job.
But now it seems the butterfly unit is very stiff and it seems that the vacuum unit battles to pull it open.
I can feel when driving it the slow response and it feels first if there is no response and when I press throttle slowly up to about 3000 rpm sudden response.
Is there anyone who can help maybe with a second hand manifold or the butterfly unit which is still in good condition, the ones I had a look at is all worn and the Stealers price is bit steep for now close to R6000,00 vat included.
Or maybe someone has a good contact with a stealer somewhere to see if I can get a better price somewhere or maybe import details to look at.Regards
