Is it normal for a 3.2 DID engin failure on 130000 km, no warning signs, last service at 127500 at agents (full service history at agents). Oil in combustion chamber, head cracked.
It is not normal at all. There is a member here with close to 700k on the original motor and turbo.
If oil came into the combustion chamber the culprit is either bad oil, or the diesel pump seal is leaking diesel into the oil.
It could also be a dud from assembly and the rings failed.

Oil went thru the breather, turbo, intercooler into combustion chamber.
Like all agents, about 3mm above full mark on dipstick. I've got a report from a forensics investigater. I can forward it to you if you want to look at it (16 pages)
it would be interesting to look at.
my email is ....... EDIT - got it. Thanks.

Eish. I hope the dealer takes responsibility.
Another good reason to have an EGT gauge fitted.

Hi 4ePikanini,
Why do you say the dealer has to take responsability?
what do you think started the problem?
thanks
Johan
