Welcome to the forum Justin iO,

We eventually upgraded from Toyota :D to a 2,0L iO many years ago and to this day we regret ever selling her - what a fine vehicle she was taking us all over southern africa, Botswana and Mozambique.

I am sure you will be very happy with her.

Regards.

Welcome in the Mitsu family to both you and SWAMBO. I still believe that the iO was one of the worst mistakes Mitsu SA made when they stopped making them! They are awesome vehicles with real off road capabilities far superior to anything in their class. They could have sold in droves if only the pricing and marketing was slightly different at the time. Instead they started focusing on the more road focused Outlander. iO have a cult following in some other countries where it is also known as the tr4. Never make the mistake to sell this vehicle!

Enjoy

Hey guys,

Thank you, yes she is awesome. fuunny enough i traded a 2009 corrola for her and have never been happier. I really do wonder why they where not made more because everyone i have spoken to that has one says they will never sell it, and neither will i. she is a 2002 with only 120k on the clock. I can reverse up obsticles that most 4x4's cant go over normally! As i say, all i need to do is locate a good 4x4 set of shocks and she will be perfect!

Do you guys ever organise weekend get togethers? would be really interested if there was something here in Natal. i would really like to test her out properly!
