I am new on this forum, I am from Tunisia (North of Africa) and I have a 2001 MY - V78W - Pajero 3.2 DI-D A/T.
I have a problem of power loss and I hope that my post is under the right heading.
In fact, my Pajero got a lack of power problem further to injector nozzle replacement. Actually, I have used my old engine parts which was damaged at low mileage because of an overheat problem.
So, I have tested the relative injectors at a diesel service company and they reported that they are good.
I have installed the whole injector holder assembly of the old engine with its nozzles and the surprise! The engine starts well and very smooth, no more black-smoke…

But after a road test, I noticed an important power loss at low engine rpm and especially at high rpm. The vehicle top speed is only 150 Km/h!

So, I gone back to the diesel service company and I requested them to use only the nozzles of my old engine and install them on the injector holder of my vehicle. There is some improvement but not enough

I am confused, before spending money in new injectors, I want to know the problem origin. Are they the nozzles themselves which was declared in good condition by the diesel service company or these last ones cannot test and install on the right way this kind of diesel injectors (two spring injectors)

Knowing that the injector nozzle only was replaced and the injector holder inner parts were not disassembled.
Does anybody have this problem after injector nozzles replacement?
