hi,
the warning light for the abs and engine still stay on with the engine running,vehicle seems to drive fine though,
any ideas as to what the problem is ans cost to rectify ?
it's a 2000 swb pajero blister.

I just had the same problem with my Gen4 pajero. Mechanically there was nothing wrong but yet the warning lights stayed on. I took it to Bosh Auto electrician and they fixed it within two days.
Either you will just need to reset the system, or there is a fault with the actual component (that was my problem).
Best advice is take it to a well trusted auto electrician.
Keep well and stay SAFE
