I know that on the older Paj the EGR were blocked off an I know there were a lot of input on this forum about the EGR,
What I want to know, is it wise to blank the EGR on the comonrail engine, Some say that you cant becuase the engine light wil come on and some say you can blank it off by making a coper plate blank off and insert it like a gasket at the valve,
The reason I'm asking is that I notice that when I drive below 2000 rpm's for a while and exelerate there is abnormal black smoke from the exhuast, I had my injectors re calibrate (did not removed it but with the plug in dianostic) and also did a turbo boost test and all was fine, so the mechanic say's that it could be the EGR that dont operate corect.
