My PJ didn’t want to start this morning so lunchtime I had a look. The battery water completely disappeared. It is a Dixon battery, so buying a new Willard Maintenance free battery.
While I was removing the old battery, I noticed the cap on my Radiator reservoir (which is attached to the batter holder) was looses. Opened it and saw no liquid in it, just a dark muck. I removed it and rinse it out. Open the radiator cap and cannot see if there is anything in the radiator. We still drove the PJ without issues yesterday. I now bought 3lt of Castrol SF pink antifreeze. What is the best why to fill the radiator / reservoir? Should I first pour the antifreeze in the radiator until full (hopefully filling the reservoir or should I fill the reservoir first?
thanks
mixing different antifreezes is a big nono!
Flush and fill properly and have the coolant tested for exhaust gasses (head gasket blown due to overheating - no coolant)

Ok, will just add water tonight and make sure everything is fine an dtopped up.
Will only be able to flush end of the month, no other time.
Would you then suggest I take the Castrol back and buy directly from the Steeler?
