Weeping tappet cover - blow back 3.2 DiD
Hi - recently starting to leave one or 2 drops of oil on floor overnight. Have traced the problem back to the tappet cover weeping and oil leaking out the butterfly valve just before the inlet manifold - oil originates form the breather pipe just before the turbo.

If I take the oil cap off there does seem to be quite a lot of pressure but that's a subjective opinion.

I am booking it in next week - hopefully its just a breather system blockage - any experiences ? Worst case scenario ?

Mileage 250 000km - 3.2 DiD - no obvious problems - no smoking or terrible consumption.

And if the blowby test fails what is the next step?
