I so want to do this trip!

Worried about the locked gates part?!

The hot water springs looks fun.

Tried.... going to Namibia last year March but it was 40 degrees celcuis in the shade and decided to abort!

When is the best time to go to Namibia and get sort of reasonable weather? May have to do the flower trip another time if the weather is to hot or to much rain

For the flowers you have to time the trip for about a week after the spring rain. We had a contact in Springbok who phoned us as soon as the first heavy shower arrived, and we left 2 weeks later. Even so, some patches already had the flowers wilting as we only got to the flowers 3 weeks after the rain. We did a Namib trip end of October, which was not too bad, but some places bitterly cold at night. Still had some 30+ days even then.
