OK , i have changed the sensors, it did help a little
it now holds the revs to what you rev it to e.g change gear at 2200rpm and it stays at 2200rpm till you let the clutch out for the next gear
i will say when i swapped the sensors it was easier to remove the water housing on the head & the temp sensor under that to give clear access to the bolt on the top sensor
i noticed quite a bit of build up on the sensor in the head, when i cleaned it off it was back to shiny brass, also did the same to the one in the throttle housing
so i am still stumped
could there be an issue with the temp sensors or the vacuum solenoids ???????????
there is some oil residue in the throttle body
and i have blanked off the egr
would the car need to do the idle re-learn after i change those sensors?
