Anybody able to comment on Fuchs engine oil. A German friend claims that it beats Delo 400 (4ePajero recommend and I use it on both my Mits) as far as lubrication goes.
Do not want to start an oil war just wants to hear if this guy has got his ducks in a row or did I misunderstand something in his high tech explanation on Fuchs oils.

You are going about it in the wrong way if you don't want to start an oil war 
People get very touchy about tings like that as we all want to believe the oil we are using is the best for our vehicle. Unfortunately the perfect oil still has to be blended or discovered and the offerings we have at our disposal is a compromise and combination of different qualities to accommodate a wide spectrum of requirements. I do not use dello in my vehicles as I drive a petrol and believe that the stuff that I have in my engine does the job as good or better but that does not mean that I do not appreciate the qualities of dello or what it can do compared to lower end lubricants.
Oil is much more than just a lubricant, it has a detergent quality as well as various metal treatments and the quality most overlooked is the cooling effect and heat dissipation properties.
The best is to look at your own needs and compare various oils to see which one suits your application best. The stuff I have in my engine now has led to better fuel consumption and a cooler running engine with better oil pressure throughout the range, with the added bonus of the first two oil changes being very dark in color indicating a good detergent quality

i phoned midas and it was recommended by them as one of the better oils.
ill give it a shot and i will test it for the next 7500km and see what happens

- I have heard good things about Fuchs oils.
- I have never heard any negative report on Delo400
- Delo400 is definitely not the only good oil available
- whatever revs your motor
