Mitsu India is hopeless..the dealer say it takes two months for them to get the Ecu imported. Also they are not 100% sure it's the Ecu problem.
So I took delivery of the car today and gave it to another famous imported car garage here....

Still no hope. I was told today by a car expert that it could be a gearbox problem.
In park and neutral the car builds revs as it should but on drive it doesn't rev.
Sounds gearbox related to me as well. Have you tried to get any possible fault codes with an OBDII bluetooth device and a app like Torqtune on your smartphone?
Maybe that will give some pointers?
