Gen 2 fault code reader
Hi there,

Sorry if this or something similar has been asked on this forum before but i am not able to find anything.

What standard ECU reader does Gen2 (1995) Pajeros use? It is not OBD2. Any help with this, hardware and software to use would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Re: Gen 2 fault code reader
Hi Sarel
Try the attached which I used successfully. I have a 2nd Gen 3.0 6g72 NH model. I used a LED test light initially but since used a analogue (dial Type multi tester which a bought from Makro for R75. If you want to spend a few thousand Rands then an OBD I which the supplier specifies is suitable to use on 2 gen Pajero. But I will stick my gveryu cost effective method.

Re: Gen 2 fault code reader
Hi Yunoos,

Thank you very much for the info, it's been a real pain in the ass trying to find something that does not cost an arm and a leg. I will try this out.

Thanks again
