AGHHHHHHH .......... just got started, then man down with an infection. Put it back together feeling like hell. Waiting to get back to it and finish it now.
I do not smoke, drink less, eat my veg and more !!
The wife smokes, drinks, does not eat her veg and is never sick.
It is just not fair!

Thanks Peter. The pot sure could be larger, a 500ml upwards would be ideal.

The drain valve is manually operated and cant leak in either direction.

Washing the breather filter/labyrinth/impingement plates in the rocker cover made a huge reduction in oil carry over, and reduced crank case pressure too, that's the first place to work on.

Thanks for that tip Trekker.

I spent a lot of my working career problem solving for Caterpillar. It is normally the small seemingly unimportant things that we tend to omit. We sometimes go looking for solutions in complicated involved areas when the answer was right there and quite easy to access.
