Re: Engine warning lamp latest development
And it continues….as reported I had the fault diagnosed, apparently a loose connector on the fuel filter, so re-set the computer.
Left for CT trip, couple of hours later engine warning light back on! Checked connections, no problem.
Long story short, dealer in Somerset West reports that it is my fuel filter that needs to be replaced.

So new filter now in hand, before I start can anyone gives tips on what not to do when changing the fuel filter??

Also I suppose I will need to take the Paj back to a dealer to have the computer reset so as to get switch the warning lamp off.
Is that so or is there a home solution to this??
Re: Engine warning lamp
Not sure if you can reset the fault code by maybe taking the battery off for a while?

Here is a link on how to replace filter. It is not absolutely necessary to take the bracket off as suggested. Put lots of plastic bags and rags under filter to protect the starter underneath it from diesel. Many a failed starter due to diesel contamination.

Re: Engine warning lamp
Hi Cats

Thanks for the link, most useful.
I'll have a go and hold thumbs it all comes together.
First time is always the worst. I've done this many times on a marine diesel Volvo so not too unfamiliar with the bleeding process.

Appreciate the advice.
